The Hotel is located in the centre of the town near the Old Town gates, with a free and comfortable parking lot. It’s few minutes from the main tourist attractions as the splendid Frederick II of Swabia Cathedral, the interesting Archaelological Museum and the shopping streets.
The hotel was completely restored in 2002 and today offers a modern and refined place where our customers can relax and enjoy the stay thanks to the new furnishing rooms with air-conditioning, bathroom and shower, airdryer, mini-bar, TV, direct telephone, free wi-fi.
It's also possible to organize business meetings in a pleasant meeting-room with a seating capacity of 60 persons.
Altamura is usually chosen as the starting point for a longer stay in order to visit the Murgia Highlands and the nearby Basilicata, due to its strategic central position that permits an easy transfert to some of the main charming and famous nearby localities: the Sassi of Matera (15 minutes drive), Alberobello and the Trulli, Castellana Grotte with its wonderful caverns, Bari, Castel del Monte, Trani and Gravina.
Bari airport is at just 30 minutes drive.
